  • Comprehensive Labor and Birth

    This comprehensive course will leave you and your partner feeling prepared to handle anything labor throws at you.

    Topics covered include: an overview of pregnancy, preparing for birth, signs and stages of labor, labor variations, labor interventions, comfort measures and coping techniques, and a brief overview of postpartum recovery, and adjusting to life with a newborn.

    Participants will also have an opportunity to discuss their labor and birth fears, dispel common myths, and think about their birth preferences and priorities. Partners will learn valuable support techniques as well as when to use them. Participants will leave with various printed materials and a Preparing for Birth booklet to reference throughout their pregnancy and labor.

  • Comfort Measures Mini Course

    This mini course focuses solely on comfort measures and coping techniques for labor and birth. Participants will learn about various techniques they can utilize in labor to decrease pain and fear, as well as have an opportunity to talk through any fears about labor.

    Topics covered include: doula and partner support. fear and safety cycles, labor environments, massage, breathing techniques, labor positions and more!

  • Lactation Preparation Session

    Planning to breastfeed, but not sure where to start?

    This one hour prenatal information session is for parents desiring to breastfeed who are seeking additional support and knowledge. This session is tailored to your individual needs and offers a great opportunity to have your unique questions answered.

    Lactation Preparation Sessions are offered in person or virtually with our Certified Lactation Counselor, Emily.

  • We strongly encourage your partner to participate if possible. Anyone who plans to support you during your birth is encouraged to join!

  • To schedule a class please fill out our contact form or call us! We will discuss your scheduling preferences and tailor the number and length of sessions to meet your needs.

  • Childbirth education can be completed during any part of your pregnancy, however we find the best time to be early in the third trimester. We would suggest completing all desired classes prior to 36 weeks.

  • Yes! If you are looking for just a refresher or have other special requests outside of the listed courses please contact us!

  • Current doula clients can take advantage of 10% off any Childbirth Education Classes. If you are a current client looking to sign up for a class, contact us at your earliest convenience.
